In teleost, follicle atresia is a common degenerative process that can occur at different stages of ovarian development. this study, we depicted the cellular morphology silver pomfret (Pampus argenteus) follicular in detail and divided it into four from A? to A? based on main characteristics. High-throughput RNA sequencing was used profile stages, many stage-specific genes were identified. early atretic ovary, great number cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction obviously downregulated, suggesting somatic cells might directly induce by disrupting normal conservation with germ cells. Meanwhile, regulatory network immune cell–related pathways discovered atresia. The enriched Th cell differentiation, leukocyte transendothelial migration, cholesterol metabolism, so abundantly expressed, indicating play key roles Moreover, model proposed illustrate how mediate study provides important insights molecular networks underlying teleost.
